  11. I have a Cardinal MVP288IS installed on a 486 with Windows 95.  I installed 
  12. the INF file that came with the modem.  After setting the modem up to record 
  13. messages to the log file I tried to use the system monitor to monitor the 
  14. kbytes per second.  When I selected the Cardinal from system monitor it came 
  15. back with an error message saying the program had performed an illegal 
  16. function.  System monitor would work with other modems (USR, PPI, Zoom) but 
  17. not the Cardinal.  Anyone know why?
